Grant Development, Management, and Compliance

What We Do

The Grant Development, Management, and Compliance department will support, guide, and advise faculty and staff through the full life cycle of grants from pre-award to post-award to closeout.

Pre-Award - Grant Development

Pre-Award support includes assisting faculty and staff with developing and writing grant proposals; assisting in budget development; providing College and community information for statistical data purposes; coordinating final packaging of proposal; and submitting the final proposal to the funder.

Post-Award - Grant Management and Compliance

Post-Award support includes processing award documents; reviewing grants for general compliance and oversight; interpreting and applying Federal, State, and local government statutes, OMB Guidance, private funders' requirements, and other regulations; serving as a resource for staff and project directors; monitoring the budget for proper use of funds; and conducting routine monitoring of financial and performance activities and providing recommendations for adjusting spending when needed.
