Sophomore bests competition in bareback riding for second year

Members of the FPC Rodeo team attended the Howard County College Rodeo in Big Spring April 11-13.

For the second year, sophomore Brazos Winters brought home the bareback riding title. Winters scored a 70-point ride in the long round placing him second and a 73-point ride in the short round to again earn second place. His combined average score of 143 earned him the average title.

Other Plainsmen making their mark include bull rider Wyatt Hart, who placed sixth in the long round and sixth in the average, and goat tyer Rocky Rodriguez, who placed in the top 20.
