Crane Operator Training
Have you considered entering the exciting world of crane operations? The industry is continually growing and the demand for certified operators is high.
Here at the Safety Training Center at Frank Phillips College we offer programs to help you become certified as a mobile crane operator. Whether you are new to crane operations, an experienced operator needing to recertify or a company that employs operators and need training, we can assist you in accomplishing your training needs.
Our training program is designed to prepare you for the written and practical testing requirements of the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. We have classroom instruction to prepare you for the written components and experienced crane operators to help you become familiar with operating a crane and prepare for the Practical Examinations.
Being associated with the college allows us to keep our costs down. This allows us to offer quality training at a price substantially less than many companies charge. In addition we may be able to offer tuition assistance to help you attain your goals. Please contact us for additional information.
New Operator Training
1 Crane Certification: $1,750.00
(Includes classroom prep course, written exams and practical exam in one crane. One hour of practice time is included. Additional practice time is available for purchase.)
2 Crane Certifications: $2,250.00
(Includes classroom prep course, written exams and practical exams in two cranes. One hour of practice time per crane is included. Additional practice time is available for purchase.)
Recertification
Qualified Recert: $1,000.00
(Includes classroom prep course and written exams. You must be able to certify completion of at least 1,000 hours of crane related experience in the previous certification period. NCCCO may require substantiation at any time)
Full Recert -1 crane: $1,500.00
(Includes classroom prep course, written exams and practical exam in one crane. One hour of practice time is included)
Full Recert - 2 cranes: $2,000.00
(Includes classroom prep course, written exams and practical exam in one crane. One hour of practice time per crane is included)
Other Services
Core Exam: $170.00
Core Exam and Load Chart Test (1 crane): $230.00
Core Exam and Load Chart Test (2 cranes): $290.00
Practical Exam (includes 1 hour of practice): $200.00
Additional practice time in crane (per hour): $50.00
