Frank Phillips College is pleased to announce the hiring of new Head Softball Coach at Frank Phillips College.

Estrella Guardiola enters into her first year of coaching with experience working as a softball instructor at DBAT WACO and 2 years of travel ball coaching with American Freedom Organization.

From 2018-2020 she helped develop players in the travel ball organization that was based out of Waco, Texas. This organization consisted of local middle and high school kids within 30 miles of McLennan County.

She recorded a solid .244 batting average with a total of 20 hits and 3 homers.

This season will be an exciting one with a new coaching staff, the unpredictability of the COVID requirements, and a solid mix of athletes recruited from the prior year and some returners who did not get to finish out their sophomore seasons. Frank Phillips College looks forward to watching the softball program grow under new leadership.

"Although this season will look different than others we have played in the past, we look forward to the strength these coaches have shown and know that our FPC softball team is in good hands with the new coaching staff we have hired." Director of RAM, Arielle Pritchett said.
