Frank Phillips College is searching for a qualified individual who will teach the art and skill of welding through various means, including hands-on, verbal communication, pictures, etc.  A qualified candidate must be able to pass a craft welding test and teach to that level in all commonly used industrial processes, including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, oxy-fuel welding, brazing, and cutting, along with the craft-level use and maintenance of carbon arc gouging, plasma cutting, welding, and associated equipment.  A primary duty is coordination of a dual-credit welding program with area high schools, involving frequent on-site visits of existing programs and start-up programs with new schools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certificate or Associate's Degree in welding from an accredited college and a minimum of three years of industrial welding experience.  A valid driver's license is required.

Frank Phillips College is currently seeking an IT Technician to connect, operate and maintain Skype connections in Distant Learning classrooms for the Borger Campus and all outlying campuses (connections to Perryton and Dalhart).  Provide computer technical support for system PC's on all Frank Phillips campuses.  Troubleshoot operating equipment such as codec's switches, projectors, cameras, modems, routers, and other audio visual equipment.  Provide student support for maintaining portal and e-mail connections.  Provide technical support for faculty in moving computers and running cables for internet connection.  Provide technical support for assigned service tickets to resolve issues of hardware and software.  Perform technical research and analyze leading edge technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic computer experience.  Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office.  Networking experience is preferred but not required.  High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
